29th 'Meitantei Conan' Movie Announced for 2026

The official movie website of the Meitantei Conan (Detective Conan) anime series announced on Sunday that the 29th movie will open in theaters during the Golden Week in 2026. The website also revealed the main cast and a teaser trailer. Voice actors Minami Takayama, Wakana Yamazaki, and Rikiya Koyama are reprising their roles from the television anime. Voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro (Yofukashi no Uta) is starring as Chihaya Hagiwara, replacing the late Atsuko Tanaka. Shogakukan, Yomiuri Telecasting, Nippon Television Network, Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions, TOHO and TMS Entertainment are credited for production. TOHO will distribute the movie. The 28th movie, subtitled Sekigan no Flashback (One-Eyed Flashback) opened in Japan on April 18, grossing over 14.6 billion yen (approximately US$99.3 million) at the Japanese box office.
