The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the Fumetsu no Anata e (To Your Eternity) television anime revealed four additional cast for the third season on Wednesday. The anime series adapting Yoshitoki Ooima's supernatural adventure manga will premiere on October 4 at 11:45 p.m. on NHK General TV.
Souta Yokote (Bye Bye, Earth assistant director) is helming the third season at Drive and Studio Massket, with chief director Kiyoko Sayama (Fumetsu no Anata e Season 2 director).
Returning staff include series composer Shinzou Fujita, character designer Koji Yabuno, and music composer Ryou Kawasaki.
Ooima began serializing the manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine in November 2016 and ended it on June 4. Kodansha published the 25th and final volume on August 12.
Brain's Base produced the 20-episode first season in Spring 2021. The second season by animation studio Drive also aired in 20 episodes in Fall 2022. Crunchyroll simulcasted both seasons with subtitles and an English dub.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in January 2017 and released the 22nd volume on April 22. The 23rd volume will go on sale on October 21.
