The official website of the Wandance (Wondance) television anime revealed additional staff, and a main visual (pictured) on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2025 at 11:45 p.m. on TV Asahi's IMAnimation W programming block. Michiya Katou (Kanashiki Debu Neko-chan) is directing the anime and penning the script at Madhouse and Cyclone Graphics. Choreographer RIEHATA, known for her works with BTS and BoA, is credited as the dance producer. The anime adapts Coffee's sports manga which began in Afternoon in January 2019. Kodansha published the 13th volume in August 2024. Kodansha USA licensed the manga for English release in July 2021, and published the 13th volume on August 12.
