'Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai' Announces Additional Cast
Cast: • Tokoyo Omoikane: Sayaka Senbongi (Bocchi the Rock!) • Toki Kamisato: Hikaru Tono (Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita) • Hana Yashiki: Saku Mizuno (VTuber Nandaga Haishin Kiri Wasuretara Densetsu ni Natteta) • Yasuhiro Minami (Gintama episode director) is helming the anime at Studio Flad. Yukie Sugawara (Gakusen Toshi Asterisk) is handling the series composition, and Mika Yamamoto (Enen no Shouboutai: San no Shou sub-character design) is designing the characters. Music is composed by Mito (Clammbon) (Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru).

An official website for the Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai (Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family!) manga revealed additional cast members. The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 5 on AT-X at 11:00 p.m. before airing on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and BS Asahi. It will also be available on various Japanese streaming services at 11:30 p.m. Crunchyroll will stream the series worldwide excluding Japan and mainland China. Nanateru drew the manga on the Comic Newtype platform from July 2021 to February 2024. Kadokawa published the third and final volume in March 2024. A sequel manga titled Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai Z began serialization on the Comic Newtype website in July 2024. Kadokawa released the first volume on April 25, with the second volume scheduled for an October 10 release.
