The official website of the Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai (Alma-chan Wants to Have a Family!) television anime revealed additional cast, staff, opening theme, and first promotional video on Monday. The anime adapting Nanateru's comedy romance manga is scheduled to premiere on October 5 at 12:30 a.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and TV Aichi. Voice actresses Hinaki Yano (Kuroiwa Medaka ni Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsuujinai) and Rika Nagae (Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita!) are joining the cast as Neon and Makina, respectively. Yukiko Ashino (Studio Tulip) (Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita 2nd) Singer-songwriter ZAQ (Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!) is performing the opening theme "Dramatic Overlay," which is previewed in the promotional video below. Nanateru drew the manga on the Comic Newtype platform from July 2021 to February 2024. Kadokawa published the third and final volume in March 2024. A sequel manga series, Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai Z, debuted on the Comic Newtype website in July 2024. Kadokawa published the first volume on April 25, with the second volume scheduled for an October 10 release. 1
