'Cat's♥Eye' Announces Additional Cast Pair

The official website of the Cat's♥Eye anime series revealed additional cast on Thursday. The anime adapting Tsukasa Hojo's action comedy manga is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Disney+ on September 26. Voice actors Katsuyuki Konishi (Kimetsu no Yaiba) and Youko Hikasa (Kami no Tou) are joining the cast as Masato Kamiya and Mitsuko Asatani, respectively. Yoshifumi Sueda (High School DxD Hero) is helming the anime at LIDENFILMS. Hayashi Mori (Sand Land: The Series) is penning the script, and Yousuke Yabumoto (Yuusha ga Shinda!) is designing the characters. Yuuki Hayashi (Sakamoto Days) is composing the music. Hojo began drawing the manga in Weekly Shounen Jump in September 1981. Shueisha published the 18th and the final volume in October 1984. Coamix began publishing the manga in English on its MangHot website in July 2024. Produced by Tokyo Movie Shinsha a television anime adaptation of the manga aired in 73 episodes from Summer 1983 to Spring 1985. Crunchyroll streamed the anime with English subtitles.
