'Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka' Delays Broadcast of Sixth Episode

The production committee for the Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka (Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle) television anime announced on Tuesday that the broadcast and streaming of episode six and beyond will be postponed. According to the announcement, the delay was made due to production-related circumstances and in order to maintain the quality of the main series. Beginning November 11, a special selection of the Wooser no Sono Higurashi (Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life) series will air in its time slot for three weeks as a substitute program. The sixth episode is now scheduled to air on December 2, followed by episode seven on December 9, episode eight on December 16, episode nine on December 23, and episode ten on December 30. Broadcast dates for episodes 11 through 13 remain undecided and will be announced later on the anime's official website and social media channels. In a statement, the production committee expressed appreciation for viewers' patience and understanding, adding that the staff will "continue working diligently to meet the expectations of everyone looking forward to the series." The anime series adapting Hiromu's romantic comedy light novel premiered with a 60-minute extended first episode and is planned as a split two-cour series. Yuji Tokuno (Bishounen Tanteidan episode director) is helming the anime at feel. Naruhisa Arakawa (Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman.) is handling the series composition and script. Sumie Kinoshita (Imouto sae Ireba Ii.) is designing the characters and Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo) is composing the music. Hiromu began penning the light novel under Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint in June 2019, featuring illustrations by raemz (Replica datte, Koi wo Suru.). Shogakukan published the ninth volume in August 2024, with the third side story volume released on October 20. Bobcat began dring a manga adaptation in April 2020 and ended it on January 11 this year. Square Enix published the eighth and final volume on March 7. Yen Press licensed the light novel and manga in English release in July and November 2021, respectively. The seventh novel volume shipped on October 21. The seventh manga volume went on sale on August 26, with the eighth and final volume planned for an April 28, 2026 release.
