The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hiromu's Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka (Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle) light novel revealed additional cast, staff, theme songs, and the first promotional video on Saturday. The anime will air in split cours, with the first part premiering on October 7 at 11:00 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, Fukui TV, TV Aichi, and BS11. The first episode will have an extended broadcast, airing early on AT-X and Tokyo MX at 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., respectively. Voice actors Youhei Azakami (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo) and Masaya Miyazaki (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 3) are joining the cast as Kuranosuke Iwanami and Kenta Yamazaki, respectively. Singer-songwriter Kucci is performing the opening theme "Liar," with rock band Cidergirl (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu. opening) performing the ending theme "Kagerou." Both songs are previewed in the promotional video below. Yuji Tokuno (Enen no Shouboutai episode director) is helming the anime at feel. Naruhisa Arakawa (Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman.) is handling the series composition and penning the script with original creator Hiromu. Sumie Kinoshita (Imouto sae Ireba Ii.) is designing the characters. Hiromu submitted the work for the 13th Shogakukan Light Novel Award in 2018 under the title Ramune no Bin ni Shizunda Biidama no Tsuki and won the Excellence Prize. Gagaga Bunko retitled the light novel as Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka and began publishing it with illustrations by raemz in June 2019. Shogakukan published the ninth volume in August 2024, and the second short story volume on August 20. Bobcat began drawing a manga adaptation on the Manga UP! app April 2020. Square Enix published the eighth and final volume on March 7. Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga in English in July and November 2021, respectively.
