'Fuun kara no Saikyou Otoko' TV Anime Adaptation Announced
A television anime adaptation of Fukufuku's Fuun kara no Saikyou Otoko (The Strongest Man, Born from Misfortune) light novel was announced by publishing company Starts Shuppan on Monday, revealing an announcement visual (pictured).
Fukufuku originally penned the isekai fantasy series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2017, later beginning a revised version in November 2020. Starts Shuppan began publishing the novel in March 2022, featuring illustrations by Zun Nakabayashi. The fourth volume was released on March 28.
Nakabayashi began drawing a manga adaptation on the Comic Glast in October 2021. The seventh volume went on sale on January 24, with the eighth volume scheduled to be released September 26. Fuun kara no Saikyou Otoko has a cumulative 1.5 million copies in circulation, including digital editions.
MangaPlaza licensed the manga for digital release in English in December 2023.
