'Iya na Kao sare nagara Opantsu Misete Moraitai' Gets New Anime

An official website opened for a new anime adaptation of 40-hara's Iya na Kao sare nagara Opantsu Misete Moraitai (I Want You to Show Me Your Panties With a Disgusted Face) doujin series on Saturday, revealing the main staff and a teaser visual (pictured). The new anime celebrates the original work's tenth anniversary. Saya Fukase is returning from the previous installments to direct the new anime at UWAN Pictures. The first season premiered in six four-minute episodes in July–August 2018, followed by the second season in November–December 2019. A sequel original video anime episode was released in February 2023. 40-hara began drawing the doujin series in December 2015 and released the 12th volume at Comiket 104 in August 2024. Ryou Uehara published the Iya na Kao sare nagara Kozukuri sasete Moraitai spin-off novel under France Shoin's Bishoujo Bunko label in March 2017. Shin Araki (GJ-bu, Eiyuu Kyoushitsu) began penning a second spin-off novel subtitled Yo wa Pantsu ga Mitai zo on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2019. France Shoin published the first volume under its BJ Novel imprint in July 2019. Araki and Jirou Kido began serializing a manga adaptation of the second spin-off novel in Tonari no Young Jump in May 2019. Shueisha released the second volume in December 2019.
