The Jingai Kyoushitsu no Ningengirai Kyoushi (Misanthropic Teacher in Demi-Human Classroom.) special stage at the MF Bunko J Autumn School Festival 2025 announced five additional cast and the opening theme on Sunday. The television anime adapting Natsume Kurusu's supernatural drama light novel will air in January 2026. Anisong artist Masayoshi Oishi (Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken) is performing the opening theme "Ningen." Akira Iwanaga (Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou 2nd Season) is directing the anime series at asread. Katsuhiko Takayama (Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru) is handling the series composition and Maiko Okada (Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun.) is designing the characters. Makoto Miyazaki (Zom 100) is composing the music. Kurusu began penning the light novel with illustrations by Sai Izumi under the MF Bunko J imprint in February 2022. Kadokawa published the fourth volume on February 25. Atsu Benino began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Shounen Ace in August 2022 and ended it on July 26 this year. Kadokawa published the fourth and final volume on September 26. Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga in English in April 2023 and February 2025, respectively. The third novel volume shipped last March 2024, with the fourth volume planned for an April 14, 2026 release. The second manga volume is set to be released on December 16.
