'Jujutsu Kaisen' Author, 'Cipher Academy' Artist Begin New Manga

Jujutsu Kaisen author Gege Akutami and Angou Gakuen no Iroha (Cipher Academy) illustrator Yuuji Iwasaki will begin a new manga titled Modulo in the 41st issue of Weekly Shounen Jump on September 8. Akutami will pen the short-term serialization, with Iwasaki in charge of the illustrations. Shueisha has confirmed that the 41st issue will feature a full color 54-page spread, as well as feature the series on the magazine cover. Akutami drew Jujutsu Kaisen in Weekly Shounen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024. Shueisha published the 30th and final volume in December 2024. VIZ Media released the 27th volume in English on August 19. NisiOisiN and Iwasaki serialized Cipher Academy in Weekly Shounen Jump between November 2022 and February 2024. Shueisha published the seventh and final volume in May 2024. VIZ Media released the seventh volume digitally on August 26.
