The official website of the Kusunoki no Bannin (The Keeper of the Camphor Tree) anime movie revealed the main cast, additional staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and trailer on Friday. The movie adapting Keigo Higashino's fantasy novel will premiere in Japanese theaters on January 30, 2026. Actors Fumiya Takahashi (Black Clover: Mahou Tei no Ken) and Yuuki Amami (Meitantei Conan Movie 20: Junkoku no Nightmare) are starring as Reito Naoi and Chifune Yanagisawa, respectively. Jitsugyou no Nihonsha published the novel in hardcover and paperback in March 2020 and April 2023, respectively. Trailer
