Light Novel 'Ousama no Propose' Gets TV Anime

Production company Kadokawa announced a television anime adaptation of Ousama no Propose (King's Proposal) light novel by Date A Live creators Koushi Tachibana and Tsunako on Saturday during the "Fantasia Bunko Housoukyoku Aki no Dai Kanshasai" livestream, revealing an illustration by Tsunako. Tachibana began penning the action fantasy light novel with illustrations by Tsunako under Fujimi Shobo's Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint in September 2021. The eighth volume went on sale on August 20. Nemo Kurio began drawing a web manga adaptation on Square Enix's Gangan Online website in February 2023. The sixth volume went on sale on March 12. Yen Press licensed the light novel in April 2022. The sixth volume went on sale on May 27, with the seventh volume scheduled for release on January 6, 2026.
