Manga 'Honoo no Toukyuujo: Dodge Danko' Gets TV Anime in 2026
Production company Avex Pictures opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Tetsuhiro Koshita's Honoo no Toukyuujo: Dodge Danko manga on Friday, revealing a visual (pictured) and announcement promo. The anime series is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
Koshita began serializing the team sports manga, a sequel to his Honoo no Toukyuuji: Dodge Danpei manga, in Weekly CoroCoro Comic in November 2022. Shogakukan published the fifth volume on January 28, with the sixth volume scheduled to be released this August.
The original Dodge Danpei manga ran in Monthly CoroCoro Comic in 1989. Shogakukan published the 18th and final volume in June 1995.
Animation 21 adapted the original manga into a television anime that aired in 47 episodes from Fall 1991 to Summer 1992.
