The official website of the Mayonaka Heart Tune (Tune In to the Midnight Heart) television anime revealed additional staff, a second promotional video, key visual (pictured), and the theme songs on Thursday.
The anime series adapting Masakuni Igarashi's showbiz-themed romantic comedy manga will begin airing on January 6, 2026 at 11:00 p.m. on Kansai TV and Fuji TV's new Kannibal programming slot (previously Ka☆Dora Eleven). BS Asahi will air the television anime on its Anime A programming block beginning January 9, 2026 at 11:00 p.m.
Voice actors Rikuya Yasuda (Beelzebub-jou no Okinimesu mama.) is starring as the protagonist Arisu Yamabuki. Kana Hanazawa (Gachiakuta) is joining the cast as Lemon Andou.
Masayuki Takahashi (Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Shiro) is directing the anime at Gekkou. Yukie Sugawara is also handling the series composition. Tomoyuki Shitaya (2.5-jigen no Ririsa) is designing the characters.
Igarashi began serializing the manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine in September 2023, approximately 3.5 years after concluding Senryuu Shoujo. Kodansha published the tenth volume on September 17, with the 11th volume going on sale on December 17.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in July 2024 and released the third volume on September 2. The fourth volume is planned for a November 4 release. The company also simulpublishes the manga on its K Manga app and website.
