'Mushoku no Eiyuu' Unveils Additional Cast Pair, Second Promo

The official website for the Mushoku no Eiyuu: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Iranakattan da ga (Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?!) television anime revealed an additional pair of cast, second promotional video, and a main visual (pictured) on Wednesday. The anime series adapting Shichio Kuzu's action adventure light novel premiered on October 1 at 10 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by BS Fuji and AT-X. Voice actors Shouya Chiba (Niehime to Kemono no Ou) and Yui Ogura (Sayounara Ryuusei, Konnichiwa Jinsei) have joined the cast as Kaito and Colette, respectively. Kaoru Yabana (Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta episode director) is helming the anime at Studio A-CAT. Chabou Higurashi (Choukadou Girl ⅙) is handling the series composition and script. Takayuki Chiba (Saikyou no Ousama, Nidome no Jinsei wa Nani wo Suru? chief animation director), Xuewen Xu (Kami no Tou: Ouji no Kikan animation director) are serving as character designer, while Kent Asahina (Saikyou no Shienshoku “Wajutsushi” de Aru Ore wa Sekai Saikyou Clan wo Shitagaeru) is composing the music. Kuzu began penning the action adventure novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2017. Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the series under its Earth Star Novel imprint the following July, featuring illustrations by Yumehito Ueda (True Tears). The fourth and final volume went on sale in June 2019. Comic Earth Star began serializing a manga adaptation by Akio Nanae in November 2018. The tenth volume went on sale on October 10. One Peace Books licensed the manga for English release and published the fourth volume on August 7, with the fifth volume scheduled for release on February 17, 2026. 2nd
