The Aniplex Online Fest 2025 event revealed the main cast, staff, a teaser promo, and teaser visual (pictured) for Oni no Hanayome (The Ogre's Bride) television anime on Saturday. The anime adaptation of Kureha's fantasy romance novel will air in 2026.
Voice actors Saori Hayami (Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru) and Yuichiro Umehara (Goblin Slayer) are starring as Yuzu Shinonome and Reiya Kiryuin, respectively.
Kureha originally began penning the novel on the Novema! website in 2019. Starts Shuppan began publishing the novel under its Starts Shuppan Bunko imprint with illustrations by Yuu Shiratani in October 2020 and released the ninth volume in May 2024.
Jun Togashi began drawing a manga adaptation on the Star Shuppan's noicomi web magazine in December 2021. Star Shuppan published the seventh volume on June 13. NTT Solmare began publishing the manga in English on its Manga Plaza platform on March 6.
