The official website of the Tougen Anki television anime revealed additional cast members, theme songs, fourth key visual (pictured), and the fourth promotional video for the second cour on Wednesday. The anime began its broadcast on July 11 at 11:00 p.m. on NTV, followed by BS-NTV. Singer-songwriter Chogakusei (Hazurewaku no "Joutai Ijou Skill" de Saikyou ni Natta Ore ga Subete wo Juurin suru made) is performing the opening theme "AMIDAKUJI" and eill (Tokyo Revengers) performs the ending theme "ACTION." Both songs are previewed in the promotional video below. Ato Nonaka (Fate/Zero episode director) is helming the anime at Studio Hibari. Yukie Sugawara (Overlord) is handling series composition and script. Ryouko Amisaki (Radiant 2nd Season) is designing the characters and Kohta Yamamoto (Mato Seihei no Slave) is composing the music. The anime adapts Yura Urushibara's action fantasy manga, which began serialization in Weekly Shounen Champion magazine in June 2020. Akita Shoten shipped the 25th volume on July 8. Yen Press licensed the manga in English in March 2024 and will release the fourth volume on October 28. 4
