The official website of the Undead Unluck anime series unveiled the production staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promotional video for the Undead Unluck: Winter-hen special on Thursday. The one-hour special adapting Yoshifumi Tozuka's action comedy manga will premiere in Japan in Winter 2025. The television anime produced by David Production aired in 24 episodes between Fall 2023 to Winter 2024. Hulu simulcast the anime in the U.S, while Disney+ streamed it worldwide outside Japan. Tozuka began the manga in Weekly Shounen Jump in January 2020 and ended it on January 27 this year. Shueisha published the 27th and the final volume on April 4. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in October 2020 and published the 20th volume on June 27. The 21st volume is planned for a September 16 release.
