Voice Actors Maaya Uchida and Kaito Ishikawa Announce Marriage

Voice actors Maaya Uchida and Kaito Ishikawa announced their marriage through a joint statement on their respective X (formerly Twitter) accounts on Monday. "Although this comes as a sudden announcement, we, Maaya Uchida and Kaito Ishikawa, have gotten married," they wrote. "We are deeply grateful to the fans who have supported us day after day, as well as to everyone involved in making it possible for us to continue working in this industry." Reflecting on their decision, they continued, "As two people who both work in entertainment, we have grown to deeply respect one another's work and share an understanding of its challenges. As we spent more time together, we came to strongly wish to walk through life side by side, leading us to take this new step together." Looking to the future, Uchida and Ishikawa pledged to approach this new chapter with renewed determination. "We will strive to grow as individuals and as performers, and hope to channel the experiences and insights we gain through our marriage into our future activities," they said. "Although we are still inexperienced in many ways, we would be grateful for your continued guidance and warm support as you watch over us." Uchida is widely known for voicing Rikka Takanashi in Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! (Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!), Rui Tachibana in Domestic na Kanojo (Domestic Girlfriend), Hiyori Iki in Noragami, Ranko Kanzaki in The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, and Futaba Yoshioka in Ao Haru Ride (Blue Spring Ride), among many roles. Ishikawa is best known for playing Sakuta Azusagawa in Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai), Tobio Kageyama in Haikyuu!!
