Production company Kadokawa opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Yawora Tsugumi's Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou (Daily Lives of Torture Part-Time Job) manga on Friday, revealing the main cast, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promo. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Winter 2026.
Tsumugi began serializing the comedy slice of life manga on Manga Park and Young Animal Web in December 2022. Hakusensha published the fifth volume in December 2024, with the sixth volume going on sale on June 27. The manga has a cumulative 300,000 copies of its volumes in circulation.
Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou ranked sixth in the web manga category for the 2023 Next Manga Awards and placed fifth in the 2023 Web Manga General Election.
Synopsis
This is a world where killing and torture are legalized. Sero, a part-time worker at a torture company, enjoys torturing people every day with his senior colleague, Siu. With the addition of new part-timers Mike and Hugh, fun torture life continues!
