The official website of the Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta! (A Wild Last Boss Appeared!) television anime revealed four additional cast, a new key visual (pictured above), and the third promotional video on Friday. The anime series adapting Firehead's isekai fantasy light novel will premiere on October 4 at 10:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by BS Asahi and Kansai TV.
Yuuya Horiuchi (Nijiyon Animation) is directing the anime at WAO World. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Black Clover) is handling the series composition and Maiko Ebisawa (Undead Unluck animation director) is designing the characters. Technoboys Pulcraft Green-Fund (Kakegurui) is composing the music.
Firehead began penning the action fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2015. Earth Star Entertainment started publishing the series under its Earth Star Novel imprint with illustrations by YahaKo in February 2016 and released the ninth and final volume in April 2019.
Tsubasa Hazuki began drawing a manga adaptation in Comic Earth☆Star in June 2017. Earth Star Entertainment shipped the tenth volume on February 12.
J-Novel Club licensed the light novel and manga in English for digital release in April 2020 and January 2021, respectively. The light novel's ninth and final volume was released in July 2022, and the seventh manga volume went on sale on September 11.
